What We Are

We are a Bible Believing, Bible Practicing, Local New Testament Church.

Bible Believing means that we believe the Bible is the plenary and verbally inspired Word of God. It is inerrant, infallible and God-breathed, and therefore is the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the complete and divine revelation of God to man. We hold to the fundamentals of the faith clearly taught in the Bible such as the deity of Christ; the virgin birth of Christ; the sinless life of Christ; the vicarious death and bodily resurrection of Christ; salvation by the Grace of God through faith in Christ; the eternal security of the believer; the visible, bodily return of Christ to the earth.

Bible Practicing means that we seek to obey the instructions given to us in the Bible and that we follow the New Testament as our model and authority for the operation of the church. This is what we mean by New Testament Church.

Local Church means that we are a self-governing body run locally and not a member of any council, convention or any hierarchy outside the local congregation. We have fellowship with other churches of like faith and practice and often cooperate in things such as evangelism but we are not subject to ecclesiastical powers without.

We maintain a strong emphasis on world evangelization through personal soul winning, discipleship and faith promise missions.

We recognize that the home is the basic unit of society and that a home properly founded on Jesus Christ will survive the onslaught of the devil’s attacks.

We seek to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by giving Him the preeminence in all things.

Local Churches are the Lord’s primary bases of operation for world evangelization and for our service to Him; therefore, we must associate ourselves with the unit to which He assigns us in order to most effectively serve Him.
